100 miles – Official Finish Line
There is crew access – cut off criteria 5:15am – 1/2 hour post ride “fit to continue” check (take bridge over canal to Bekins parcel) 68 pulse and sound – walk to McCann Stadium – Victory Lap, and vet release – followed by: brief vet check at the stadium between one and two hours after official timed finish, does NOT affect finish status; vets want to assure themselves that all horses are okay.
After crossing the finish line, it is a short walk to McCann Stadium at the Fairgrounds for a final "fit to continue" vetcheck and the finishers' victory lap. For those who have reserved space ahead (through the WSTF Office) their horse's box stall or covered paddock is also close by at the Fairgrounds.

On Sunday, after the finish of the Ride, Haggin Cup (Top Ten) judging begins in the Stadium at 10:00 AM. The Awards Banquet begins at 1:00 PM in the Farrell Wrenn Park area of the grounds, followed by the Awards Ceremony at 2:00 PM. Vendors of endurance tack and Tevis memorabilia have their booths set up on the main lawn area near the gazebo and in the Banquet area.
“Spectator, crew RVs and rider rig parking will find plenty of overnight spaces in the upper parking lot above McCann Stadium off of Auburn-Folsom Rd./Sacramento St ride night August 1st and August 2nd. No horses are allowed in any parking lots! A ‘Horse Camp Area’ is available for rider rigs with horses at the South end of McCann Stadium on the fairgrounds via the Sacramento Street lot. No extra vehicles in Horse Camp Area.”
